These Asian BBQ chicken skewers have just the right amount of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. The chicken tastes great after being marinated, so it's a great dish to bring to a barbecue.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- 2 pounds chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes if using
Place the chicken pieces in a zip-top bag or shallow dish
Pour half of the marinade over the chicken, reserving the rest for later
Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the soaked wooden skewers
Grill the chicken skewers, turning occasionally and basting with the reserved marinade, until fully cooked, about 12-15 minutes
